ABOUT US

The Brand Story

As a child, Singaporean jewelry designer Jason Wu loved drawing—an obsession that would later intertwine with his greatest love. His girlfriend Kila, a sweet - natured soul with a radiant smile, was his constant muse. Each day, Jason’s favorite ritual was sketching her, until one afternoon, his pencil suddenly paused at Kila’s clavicle. There, beneath her delicate collarbone, a small scar lay—and as Jason stared at the canvas, lost in thought, he wondered how to adorn her beauty while celebrating her unique story.Determined to create a necklace that mirrored Kila’s fresh, sweet charm and his own love, Jason busied himself with excitement. He spent weeks refining designs, blending gemstones and sterling silver to craft a piece that would both accentuate her elegance and hide the scar with subtle artistry. On Kila’s birthday, Jason knelt before her, holding the handcrafted necklace. "This isn’t just a gift," he said, "but a promise to cherish every part of you." Touched by his thoughtfulness, Kila teared up as he fastened the necklace around her neck—and when he pulled out a ring, she whispered yes. This moment of love and craftsmanship birthed LUCKY KILA—where every piece tells a story, turning imperfections into symbols of beauty, and love into wearable art.
